By accessing or using the vide8 website and services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.

2. Description of Service

vide8 is an AI-powered video creation platform that allows users to produce YouTube-style videos from scripts and other inputs. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and is subject to change without notice.

3. Accounts and Registration

To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep this information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions, Credits, and Billing

  • Access to premium features requires a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis.
  • Credits are allocated to your account each billing cycle. Unused credits roll over for up to two months and then expire.
  • All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or explicitly stated otherwise.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
  • Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Create, upload, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing on third-party rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks associated with the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal usage or disrupts operations
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of this section at our sole discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

Our content: The Service, including its design, code, trademarks, and content created by vide8, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks or reproduce our proprietary content without prior written permission.

Your content: You retain ownership of the content you provide as input to the Service (e.g., scripts, assets). You grant vide8 a limited, non-exclusive license to use your input content solely to provide and improve the Service.

Generated content: Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, you own the videos and other output generated through the Service, subject to any third-party rights in underlying models or assets.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, vide8 and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amounts you paid to vide8 in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction.
